We don’t know when Andaz Apna Apna 2 will go on the floors. It is a mere speculation and let’s not harp on it. This cult classic comedy from Rajkumar Santoshi has been entertaining us for twenty years now and it shall continue to do so. Our progenies may not realize the worth of this film, but we will be forever thankful to this film for all the laughter moments it has given us.
Let’s not bluff ‘coz each one of us loves Prem and Amar. And towards the end Raveena-Karishma confusion confuses you too. The dialogues of this film have a seamless comic timing. And the performances are mind-blowing. The innocence of the actors- Salman, Aamir, Karishma, Raveena- reflects. This film isn’t a utopian film which gives way to unrealistic imagery. It is neither high on realism. This one is sheer entertainment which was reported to be a dud at box office as soon as it released.
But the Andaz Apna Apna fever caught on and has stuck around.

1. This film gave us Teja vu, a terrible phenomenon which makes us want to watch the film over and over again!
2. You’d rather delete Hobbit from my hard disk than sacrifice the holier-than-thou Andaz Apna Apna!
3. You divide the world in two categories one that has Andaz Apna Apna fanatics and the other that has Inglorious Basterds.
4. When things go wrong, you’d rather blurt out “hailaa” and “oui maa” then “oh shit”.
5. Whenever you are excited this is what your status reads “Dhaki-Tiki”
6. Robert (Raabert) becomes that tiny voice in your head whenever you say “How very interesting!”
7. In times when you are low, you buffer Andaz Apna Apna comedy scenes juke box on YouTube.
8. Oh hearing the word “mark” that tiny voice in your head goes, “Teja Main Hoon, Mark Idhar Hai.”
9. And when you hear “yellow” you start singing…
10. You find Raabert & Bhalla far funnier than Robert & Bella.
11. When in free time you have always tried playing the famous “glass football” drinking game.
