Tapaal, A Mammoth Of Emotions Enthralls Hindi Film Industry

Cinema is a language of expressions. It may be in a language alien to you but the emotions don’t sway in indefinite path. Such is the power of motion picture! Off late with hits like Duniyadari, 72 Miles Ek Pravas and Rege, the Marathi cinema’s flag is soaring high. Adding one more feather to Marathi cinema’s cap is the film Tapaal. While the story of the film is highly uplifting, it is the work of a Hindi Cinema cinematographer that is getting all the accolades.

With films like Boss, Blue, English Vinglish, Laxman Utekar might have flourished in the field of glitz and glamour but with Tapaal he skyrockets not only the Marathi cinema but also enthralls the Hindi film industry. A thought provoking story which taps on the emotions has left most of the celebrities speechless.

We have heard that the film was mammoth of emotions for Sridevi and that she was teary-eyed after watching it. Immediately after screening she took to twitter to vent her feelings. And this is what she said…

While Boney Kapoor found the film “very moving and straight from heart”, his son Arjun Kapoor went gaga about it.

Gauri Shinde, a director who marvelled us with a landmark film “English Vinglish” tweeted praising the film.

Gauri’s husband, a proficient director himself, R. Balki too agreed with his wife’s opinion calling the film “very beautiful and sensitive.”

The showers of praises for this film didn’t end with Balki calling it sensitive, rather a highly skilled director with a perfectionist’s acumen, Imtiaz Ali too was moved after watching the film. “It is very pure and I really loved the film,” he said.

Well, now that the world’s praising this Nation & Internal award winning film, when do you plan to watch it?
