After giving a blockbuster Goliyon Ki Raasleela- Ram Leela, the world, especially the Indian audience expectantly awaited the film Bajirao Mastani’s announcement. The film which was slated to go on floors post its first announcement in 2003 had to change its cast quiet a lot of times. Initially, Salman and Aishwarya were the first choice for the film. This was post the success of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. However, after the highly publicized breakup of the two, the casting was shelved. Later, Kareena was cast opposite Khan but since the two signed a film as a lead pair with some other director, Bhansali scrapped the idea. In fact, Bhansali was so enraged with the thought of not being the first director to cast Khan and Kapoor afresh as a new hit pair of Bollywood, that he shelved the idea of a film on Bajirao Mastani.
For 10 long years, Bhansali went on to direct-produce other films. His dream project was on hold because the casting wasn’t done. However, with the success of Ram Leela, Bhansali struck gold. He got his dream cast for his dream project. And his dream project has become one of the most coveted films of 2015. We are really eager to see what has been going on, on the other side of the filmy curtain. Ranveer has gone bald, and Priyanka has given a glimpse of her accessories. But we really wish to see Mastani and Bajirao’s crazed love for her. About Ranveer-Deepika, we need not say much. It is upfront and in-your-face. However, we wish to see that Mastani whose tales of beauty rung the era and could woo a brawny warrior. It is believed that if Mastani chew a paan, you could see the juices following down the veins in her throat, she was that beautiful! There is this one reason why we’d want to see Bajirao Mastani releasing soon. Alas! That’d only be towards the end of the year. However, there are things floating in the social media that are relevant to the film.
Although these aren’t official from the production house, these are floated in these are floated in the social space and have piqued our curiosity nonetheless. These of course are not official yet they are something that has caught the viewers’ attention.

The song which is in Marathi defines the personality of Bajirao. But it has no information whatsoever as to who is the playback singer, who is the lyricist and who is the music composer. The voice of the singer seems to be of Shankar Mahadevan but beyond that we know nothing. This track isn’t officially released by the production house. It may have leaked but that’s that. Despite it not being official track for the film it has caught up like wildfire and has been doing the rounds of social media.
